Welcome to my website! My
name is Ann Moring and I live in Satakunta at the western coast of
Finland with my two Pharaoh Hounds and a Galgo Español.I've been interested in Pharaoh Hounds for many years and in 2004 I finally got my first Ph, Luna (SBIS Int* Nord Fin N S Est Ch EstW-06 Siphra's Hunting Girl). I wanted a Pharaoh Hound as a pet and planned to try lure coursing and agility, but I wasn't at all interested in dog shows... Until I entered Luna at Farkkushow, the finnish Pharaoh Hound speciality. We had a really fun day meeting lots of Pharaoh Hounds and their owners and Luna showed really well, only 3 months old. She really seemed to enjoy showing, and since it was so much fun, I decided to enter her at a couple of puppy shows. Need I say more...? :) Since then, we have been to dog shows in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania and showing is one of my favourite hobbies. We've also tried lure coursing and the dogs really enjoy it!! In 2008, we participated in our first lure coursing trials with success and had lots of fun! In 2005 I passed the course for dog breeders and I got my prefix, Mesmerizing, in February 2007. I thought a lot about what my prefix should be. How do you describe this wonderful breed in just one word? Finally, I decided Mesmerizing was the right prefix for me, since I'm totally mesmerized by these lovely, beautiful dogs :) I'm planning the first Mesmerizing litter, if everything goes well, the puppies will be born in 2009. More information about upcoming litters on the "puppies" page. I'd been interested in Galgo Españols for a couple of years and read everything I could find about the breed. Since they are very rare outside Spain and I don't speak spanish, I thought it would be really difficult to find a puppy. But then I heard the first litter in Finland had been born and I immediately contacted the breeder. Diego (Nord Ch S Ch Fin Ch LT Ch N Ch KBHV-08 BaltW-08 Kashaya Valiente) joined us in December 2006. Last updated 14.10.2008
